DAILY reading DOUBLES kids' ability to concentrate
The study, published in EDUCATE (link below), offers some remarkable findings about daily reading.
Kids who read every day DOUBLE their reading concentration levels compared to kids who only read once a week.
Moreover, that concentration level extends to other important parts of their lives:
"Researchers found that children aged zero-12 who read every day were able to focus on independent reading for 109 percent longer than those who read less than once a week. Daily readers also demonstrated greater concentration when listening to audiobooks, completing homework and taking part in creative activities."
