My 8 year old son devoured this book in 2 days! He enjoyed learning about all of the battles that made the Revolutionary War and learning about George Washington’s life. We can’t wait to order more books from this author.

There's not much to see here. I added 10 to the library's collection. An 11 year-old boy checked out a couple 2 weeks ago. He came in and grabbed the rest of the stack yesterday because he loved them. He said he read each of them about five times. Another boy came and grabbed the two remaining books and they are really popular with our younger, more conservative readers. When they're reading something they enjoy, they'll refer their friends to the series and this one seems like a winner!

My son is dyslexic. He despises reading. He is entering fourth grade. I purchased this book and the audiobook in a last ditch effort. He absolutely loves following along while listening to the audio. He rates it a 10/10. We are now almost finished reading it and are going to purchase the WWII book/audiobook.

My 9 year old son wasn’t interested in reading and was getting frustrated with books that didn’t interest him. He’s now picking up the battle books on his own because he loves them so much! He’s sharing what he’s learning, showing me the maps and telling me all about the battles, I honestly think I’m learning as much as he is, haha. I’m so grateful these books are turning his heart towards reading!!

I ordered the 9-book set for my 8 year old grandson, and had it shipped to his house. It arrived in a few days, and he began reading the first book immediately, finished it in about a week, and has started reading the second book already. He loves the books, and calls me to talk about them. I am very pleased that he is reading more, and playing video games less. I was hopeful that this would be his summer reading, but he will likely finish soon!

My 10 year old son loves these. They have the perfect amount of detail—enough to give the stories interest and connection but not so much he loses the train of thought. We will be using these with the curriculum PDF file as his fifth grade history program this fall.
